First Day of Kindergarten
Molly is five years old. She starts school today. She is in kindergarten. She is scared and nervous because today is her first day of school. She has never been to school before. Her mom and dad drive her to school in the morning. She does not want to go in by herself. The school looks so big. They walk with her to her classroom. Her teacher is there and so are other children. She sees her neighbor Louise. They are friends. She sits next to Louise and feels better about being at school. The teacher, Ms. Williams, is very beautiful and kind. Her parents say goodbye and kiss her on the cheek. Her mom tells her that they will pick her up in the afternoon. She is not scared anymore, so she waves her parents goodbye.
